The time it takes to resolve your dispute depends on the type of dispute and the merchant, but it may take up to 90 days for credit card or debit card disputes. Keep in mind, disputes are often resolved more quickly if you contact the merchant first.

How long do I have to dispute a charge?

Submit your dispute within 60 days of the transaction first appearing on your statement.

Do I have to pay the disputed amount while the credit card dispute is being investigated?

You should continue to make at least the minimum payment on your credit card balance until the Dispute has been resolved.
